The project is expected to create about 120 jobs when fully operational, 49 officers were trained in November 2017 and further training was conducted for 23 employees in January 2018. This was followed by training for 26 staff in March 2018 and 24 in April/May 2018. Commissioning for the plant was in June 2018

Its main value proposition is to design and manufacture various technology solutions such as livestock identification technologies, queue management systems and e-pay solutions for both the local and multinational markets. Asante has added plastic chair moulding to its production base. The Company is expected to employ a total of forty (40) people once fully operational and currently, the project has employed four (4) people. The Company has been issued with the Income Tax Relief certificate.

Dinesh Textiles (Pty) Ltd has been in existence since 1999 and the Company is expanding production to meet customer demand. Dinesh was awarded tenders by several local companies.

The project is estimated to create about 600 jobs during construction and three hundred (300) permanent jobs when fully operational. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report was approved on the 26th of January 2018. The Ministry of Health and Wellness issued the Company with the letter of comfort regarding the Off-take Agreement on the 7th of March 2019.The Company has been issued with the Income Tax Relief Certificate.

This is a joint venture that proposes to build a solar roofing tile manufacturing plant in the first phase and produce solar battery cells in its second phase and manufacturing of solar trains and cars in the third phase. The company has a potential to create 1,000 jobs when fully operational.The company signed a lease with Mmadinare Marketing Corporative on the 10th May 2019 to lease 150ha for the project. To date an Engineering consultant (Nawa Consultants) has been engaged to start with physical planning and Environmental requirements. The Engineering consultants have started the process to sub-divide the land that will be developed. The project ground break has been postponed from October 2019 due to the delays the company experienced with the landlord. Currently, the developers have started the process of undertaking EIA and has fifteen (15) employees.
sThis is a wholly Citizen Owned company that has commissioned a paint manufacturing plant in Selebi Phikwe. Their products include Road Marking Paint, Contractors PVA, Super Acrylic Paint and Steel primer. The company is currently awaiting clearance of the chemicals they use in their processes from the Department of Chemical Clearance of the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Currently, the company has five (5) employees.
The construction of the Platjan Bridge over Limpopo River is nearing completion at a progress level of 80% against 80% mark with one hundred and forty - five (145) employees on site. The set date for completion of the project is scheduled for August 2019.
However, the tarring of a twenty-seven kilometres (27km) road linking the bridge and Lekkerport junction remains behind. SPEDU held discussions with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MFED) and Botswana Unified Revenue Services (BURS) regarding the possibility of tarring the road. Preliminary assessments were made to estimate the cost of construction and a request BWP 221 00 000 000 was submitted to MFED.
